An iconic 8 arm mid century industrial work lamp by Jielde.  This 8 arm industrial lamp is mounted onto a vintage Citröën cylinder head.  This is not just a lamp it is a work of art and incredibly sculptural. The Citroën head is a perfect base for this lamp anchoring it to the floor. A cordless, functional lamp, ideally suited for any purpose and fully articulated, thanks to this unique design. With a base that can rotate 360 degrees and a reflector that can also rotate 360 degrees it turns and swivels to suit the user's needs. It was in April 1950, in Lyon, that the famous mechanical engineer Jean-Louis Domecq designed and put into production this iconic lamp.
